A Zuni Bear Claw Squash Blossom Necklace. Ten claws in their stamped silver holster above them is a serrated bezel set of Morenci turquoise, all exuding matrices of iron pyrite and Mediterranean coral. Masterful silver smithing of stamped leaves, floral stems, raindrops, and blossoms. The linear twin claw Naja reveals a floral cross of coral and turquoise. All gem grade. Handmade silver beads showing deep original patina are strung on silver foxtail. No marks. Purchased from Dan Simplicio (1917-1969), Zuni.
