  • Sand Cast Blue Gem Bracelet [SG-174]

This bracelet was crafted in the 1920s–1940s using the sand cast method, one of the earliest Navajo silversmithing techniques. Molten silver was poured into a carved sand mold to create its bold openwork design, giving the cuff a sculptural, hand-carved feel.

At the center sits a vibrant Blue Gem turquoise cabochon, a stone from Nevada prized for its rich blue color and collectible quality. The Blue Gem mine is no longer producing turquoise, which makes vintage pieces like this desirable.

The bracelet has developed a deep, natural untouched patina over many decades, which highlights the silverwork and confirms its authenticity.
