This vintage Navajo bolo tie is set with five vivid turquoise nuggets and four Mediterranean coral branches, all in fine serrated bezels. The stones are accented with hand-stamped silver rosettes, raindrops, and curling tendrils, giving the piece dynamic movement and balance.
The large silver slide measures approx. 3 1/8” x 2 5/8”, crafted in heavy sterling silver with bold stampwork and chisel marks. The cord measures approx. 18.5”, finished with long sterling silver tips.
The back is signed O. Taddelptin, a Navajo silversmith born in 1944 and active from the 1970s onward. His work is known for its bold stone choices, heavy silver, and strong traditional stampwork. The patina shows its age beautifully, reflecting its 1970s origins.
