This vintage Navajo bolo tie by Richard Begay (1953–2013) features a bold silver bison in high relief, framed by bezel-set turquoise and Mediterranean coral cabochons. The bezel is surrounded by detailed leaves, stems, and flowers.
Measuring 2 ½″ by 1 7/8″, the slide is crafted from heavy sterling silver and retains its original deep patina. The turquoise and coral stones are set in serrated bezels. Finished with a classic braided leather cord and silver tips.
Richard Begay was an acclaimed Navajo silversmith, celebrated for his precise stone-setting and intricate silver motifs.
