  • John Lucio Turquoise Bracelet [SG-225]

Signed by Zuni silversmith John Lucio, this deeply hand-stamped silver cuff bracelet features cojoined diamonds radiating outward from the stamped relief. Set with 5 robin's egg blue Persian domed turquoise cabochons, a gemstone usually seen in fine gold jewelry, rarely seen in Navajo or Zuni silverwork.

John Lucio (1919–2006) was among the respected Zuni artists whose work bridged traditional motifs with bold silver stamping. His jewelry remains collectible both for its craftsmanship and for its inclusion in historically important Native art collections.

The wide silver band is decorated with deeply stamped diamond patterns, radiating outward in bold symmetry. The bracelet has a strong, elegant look, and the stones capture the light beautifully. The silver has aged naturally, giving it a dark vintage patina. John Lucio’s work is documented in the important C.G. Wallace collection, one of the most prestigious collections of Native American jewelry.
