This vintage bracelet was made by Frank Dishta, one of the most famous Zuni silversmiths of the 20th century. He was known for his incredibly precise turquoise inlay work, where stones are cut and fitted so tightly they look like a continuous surface.
The bracelet features three rows of turquoise inlay, a much rarer style than his single-row pieces. The turquoise has a luminous blue-green color, set in flush mosaic style. The border is decorated with scalloped raindrops for added texture.
The silver has developed its original untouched patina, giving the bracelet depth and confirming its authenticity. Dishta’s work is highly sought after because of his short career (1925–1954) and unmatched craftsmanship.
