Kirk Smith 5 Band Heavy Silver Bracelet [SG-179]

This bracelet was made by Kirk Smith, one of the most respected Navajo silversmiths of the late 20th century. His work is highly sought after, especially since his passing in 2012, which made his jewelry more scarce.

The cuff features 30 Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones, cut into small snake-eye cabochons and arranged in a bold cluster design, finished with Smith’s hallmark craftsmanship. Sleeping Beauty turquoise comes from a famous Arizona mine that closed in 2012, which makes old-stock stones like these even more collectible.

The bracelet is crafted from heavy sterling silver with a five-band structure, deep stampwork, and decorative silver drops. The silver has developed a dark oxidized patina over time, which highlights the turquoise and confirms its authenticity.
