Bold and rare vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted in the mid-1900s (around the 1940s–1960s). Natural Blue Gem turquoise, this turquoise came from a famous mine in Nevada that has been closed for decades. Stones display the classic hallmark of Blue Gem, luminous blue-to-blue-green tonal variation.
Instead of the usual rounded turquoise settings, the silversmith cut the stones into sharp triangular shapes and set them in two precise rows that form a dramatic “sawtooth” or arrow-point pattern. This was much harder to make than standard styles, giving the bracelet a striking, almost modern design that still feels rooted in tradition.
The bracelet itself was made from solid silver that was melted and hammered by hand into shape, a traditional Navajo method that results in a heavy, durable cuff. Rare original patina intact.
