  • Verma Benally Turquoise Bracelet [SG-181]

This signed Navajo cuff was crafted by Verma Benally, a contemporary Navajo silversmith whose work is known for bold turquoise settings and detailed hand-stamped silver. The bracelet features eight graduated turquoise cabochons, each carefully set in serrated bezels.

The turquoise cabochons display a vivid blue-green color with natural matrix, typical of high-grade Southwestern turquoise. While the specific mine isn’t documented, the quality of the stones reflects the vibrant material favored by contemporary Navajo artists of the late 20th century.

Dating to the 1980s–1990s or later, this bracelet is not antique pawn but is a strong example of collectible contemporary Navajo silverwork. The hallmark “VB” confirms its Navajo heritage, making it a desirable signed piece from a recognized artist. Original patina from natural aging, left unpolished to preserve the silversmith’s finish.
