  • Coral Cuff Bracelet [SG-150]

A monumental 3-inch Navajo cuff, set with 21 natural Mediterranean coral cabochons in serrated bezels, accented by hand-wrought silver raindrops. The scale and density of this piece make it a commanding example of mid-20th century Navajo silversmithing.

Mediterranean red coral, harvested for centuries from the coasts of Italy, Sardinia, and North Africa. Unlike modern, mass-farmed coral, these stones were cut from wild Mediterranean reefs, prized for their deep red to oxblood hues and fine polish. Harvesting became heavily restricted in the late 20th century, which is why vintage coral jewelry remains one of the only ways collectors can access this material.

This bracelet comes from the David Saity collection, internationally known for museum-quality Native jewelry and featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, and the New York Times.

The cuff’s untouched, original patina enhances its presence, allowing the vivid red coral to glow against aged sterling silver.
