  • Bisbee Bracelet [SG-145]

This rare old Navajo bracelet features a smokey Bisbee turquoise cabochon framed in scalloped silver petals. The stone, measuring 7/8" high, shows the depth and character that made Bisbee turquoise one of the most sought-after varieties in Southwestern jewelry.

The turquoise comes from the Bisbee mine in Arizona, specifically the famed Copper Queen operation. Mining of turquoise there began in the mid-20th century, producing stones celebrated for their intense blues, smoky webbing, and distinctive chocolate-brown matrix. By the late 1970s, turquoise recovery ceased as copper production took over, making Bisbee turquoise a finite and highly collectible resource.

The bracelet’s heavy silver split-shank construction was entirely hand-forged, with visible forming lines that underscore its authenticity. The scalloped petal design creates a striking floral motif. Finished with its original untouched pawn patina.
