  • Bear Claw Bracelet [SG-143]

    Leaf after leaf, eight thick deeply stamped silver creates a shadow box like setting flower. A large triangular Morenci turquoise stone of gem grade. Pyrite (fools gold) breaks the surface. Fine serrated bezel settings reveal an adjacent bear claw. Viewing the backside rows of the lines etched into the band were formed by hand and terminated into a smooth arrow head, creating a 1 1/16" opening and inner width of 2 1/4". The bracelet height is 2 1/2". This one of a kind Navajo masterpiece has no markings, indicative of early pawn. Provenance David Saity, N.Y.C
